The Upper Midwest Economic Development Course is a comprehensive educational experience on the theory and practice of economic development fundamentals and is accredited by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC).  It fulfills one of the prerequisites for those who wish to take the Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) Examiniation.  Join some of the nation's most knowledgeable and respected finance and economic development leaders, network with colleagues, and enjoy all Duluth has to offer!

To submit an application for a 2011 Foundation UMD Upper Midwest Economic Development Course tuition scholarship, complete the form below and submit it to the Foundation no later than June 6, 2011.  Applicants must be economic development  practitioners in the state of Minnesota to be eligible.  Applicants or their employer must be, or agree to become, a member of the Economic Development Association of Minnesota to be eligible for a scholarship. Applications will be evaluated on a competitive basis.  For more information, please contact Tim Clawson, Foundation Chair.
